On the evening of June 28, 2019, the Chinese Art Song Tour Cultural Exchange Concert with young soprano Dr. Huang Lu as soloist, Associate Professor Liu Xiaojiang as director, and Zhang Huan as artistic director of China Conservatory of Music was successfully held in the Li Chengyi - Zhang Zhihua Concert Hall of Xiamen University! It was highly praised by the audience inside and outside the school. 

At the concert, Dr. Huang Lu sang 12 art songs such as the classical poem "Yangguan Sanjie", the modern art song "Three Wishes of the Rose", the new song of the ancient Ci "Slow Sound" and "Like a dream". Among them, the classical poetry is the ancient Ci and Qu, under the wonderful interpretation of Dr. Huang Lu, the ancient melody is rich and full, vividly expressing the beauty of the classical poetry and Qu. The new song of ancient Ci is a new composition of ancient poetry, which shows the contemporary composer's return to tradition and the development of modern transformation and innovation of traditional culture.

This Chinese Art Song 100 concert tour aims to promote Chinese traditional Ci music culture and develop modern vocal art. Dr. Huang Lu's melodious singing brings the grand and elegant combination of traditional ci music culture and modern vocal music art to the audience. After the concert, the teachers of Xiamen University and Dr. Huang Lu discussed and exchanged ideas about the inheritance and modern development of art songs.

It is reported that in July this year, Dr. Huang Lu will tour in Shanxi, Henan and Inner Mongolia and other places, bringing Chinese art songs to all over the country, so that more people who love art songs and poetry music can enjoy the beauty of Chinese art songs, and inherit and carry forward the traditional Chinese Ci music culture.
