On June 16, 2019, 19:00, the Chinese Art Song 100 Schools Tour Cultural Exchange Concert was successfully held in Hohai University! Won Hohai University inside and outside the audience praise!

This concert is performed by Dr. Huang Lu, a young soprano from the China Conservatory of Music. Zhang Huan from China Conservatory of Music is the art director; Liu Qing served as guide. Among them, the accompaniment of Hohai University Orchestra also became a highlight of the concert. Chinese art songs, which combine traditional Chinese ci music culture and modern vocal music art, echo in the Erudite Building of Hohai University under the interpretation of several teachers. At the end of the concert, in the atmosphere of warm applause from the audience, Dr. Huang Lu once again performed "Me and My Motherland" together with teachers and students of Hohai University, which was also a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the motherland.

The national tour aims to "promote Chinese Ci music culture and develop modern vocal music art". The repertoire of the concert includes three types of Chinese art songs: ancient, modern and contemporary. That night, nearly a thousand teachers and students came to enjoy the concert with anticipation. According to the teacher in charge of Hohai University, in addition to the teachers and students of Hohai University, there are many people from outside the school. Dr. Huang Lu, the performer, opened the show with Yang Guan Sanjie, an ancient Chinese tune that has been around for thousands of years, winning warm applause from the audience. In order to make the audience feel the charm of Chinese art songs better, Dr. Huang Lu and her production team combined modern vocal music with classical Chinese poetry, and performed traditional Chinese poetry songs such as ‘CHA TOU FENG', Dian Jiang Jiang's Lips Fu Deng Lou, Li Xi Meiling, Jiang Cheng Zi Ji a Dream, Yue Renge, Guan Ju, etc. Different ways of artistic expression make the audience refreshing, and have a deeper understanding of the value of Chinese art songs and the inheritance of cultural heritage.

The most memorable concert was the participation of the Orchestra of ZhongHohai University. Dr. Huang Lu and the orchestra performed three songs of "Three Wishes of the Rose", "That's Me" and "Me and My Motherland", which won unanimous praise.

Launched in 2018, the "China Art Song Tour Cultural Exchange Concert for 100 Schools" has been through many cities and colleges at home and abroad for cultural exchanges, and will continue to perform and exchange in various regions of the country, presenting the charm of traditional Chinese culture and wonderful audio-visual enjoyment for listeners who love music and songs.
