The whole concert consists of ten pieces, "My motherland", "My Chinese Heart" and other classic music, expressing people's patriotism of scientists to the destiny of the country and the nation as their own duty and the spirit of scientists with patriotism as the background; "Jasmine Flower" and other music with distinctive national characteristics praise the scientific and technological workers' feelings of bearing in mind the motherland and serving the people. Famous singers Yang Hongji and Huang Lu also brought songs such as "Me and My Motherland" and "I Love the Blue Sky of the Motherland" respectively, which triggered deep resonance of the audience.
At the end of the concert, a full-court chorus of "There would be no New China without the Communist Party" pushed the concert to a climax again. In the familiar melody, the audience sang in unison, and the scene was filled with the scientists' deep friendship for the people and their deep love for the Party and the country.
Chen Xieyang, the famous conductor of the concert, told reporters that after receiving the invitation to the concert, he was very excited to learn that he could be the conductor of the concert for scientists. For this reason, he specially came from Shanghai. When it comes to the relationship between art and science, he believes that although art and science are two different categories, art can not be separated from science, because the production of Musical Instruments and sound and other aspects are related to science. He said that there are also many scientists who are very fond of music and have high cultivation, such as Li Siguang, who composed China's first violin solo "Difficult Road". He believes that if scientists have the thinking of artists, it will be very helpful and promote the creation of scientific inventions.
"The technologies created by academicians are all for the happiness of the people." Yin Bo, deputy head of the China National Symphony Orchestra, said that when the orchestra received the notice, all the members were very excited, and the orchestra attached great importance to the concert, from the selection of the main crew to the selection of actors, as well as the selection of the entire concert works, and made careful preparations. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, singing "Me and my motherland" for scientists, he felt that when singing this song, he really felt the strength of the motherland, and felt that scientists were willing to devote all their spirit to the motherland. "The dedication of the scientists is tremendous. I just dedicate a song to them and I'm happy to put them at ease."
Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and an expert in optical fiber transmission network and broadband information network, said that the China Symphony Orchestra played a concert for scientists on the centenary of the founding of the Party and the theme of The Times, which is an affirmation and sympathy for the work of academicians, and also an opportunity for academicians to learn Party history. He believes that art and science are compatible with each other, good music has a high artistic but also exciting and edifying sentiment, from the perspective of art and science is integrated, many scientists also have good attainments in art. Su Donglin, a professor at Beihang University and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said that when the university celebrated the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, it organized many red song concerts and concerts, and she also participated in the singing.
