At 20:00 on the evening of July 26th, Dr. Huang Lu, a young soprano singer from China Conservatory of Music, successfully held the first Chinese Poetry Concert in Baotou at the Baotou Grand Theatre in the “Deer City”, the capital of rare earths.

As the first performance in “Deer City” Baotou, the night before the performance, Baotou City “the most beautiful book club” and Baotou Grand Theater for the concert held a unique exchange activities. The event was an exchange of poems and music to promote the culture of Chinese lyrics and music, and to develop the art of modern vocal music. Dr. Huang Lu was invited to give a lecture on “Singing Chinese Art Songs”. In addition, Dr. Huang Lu, the vocalist, Zhang Huan, the artistic director, and Liu Qing, the conductor, were interviewed about Chinese poetry music, which was well received by the bibliophiles. At the same time, many bibliophiles also expressed their expectations for the concert to be held on the evening of the 26th.

The tour was led by young soprano singer, Dr. Huang Lu from China Conservatory of Music as the lead singer, young Italian pianist from China Conservatory of Music as the artistic director, Zhang Huan as the artistic director, and Liu Qing as the conductor, presenting twelve classical musical works for the people of Baotou. These twelve pieces included traditional poems, modern classics, and contemporary new compositions, such as “Yangguan Sanjie”, “Bodhisattva Barbarian”, “Nostalgia Song” and so on. The styles are rich and varied, and each song is self-contained and sets each other off.

At the end of the concert, Huang Lu returned to sing a song called “The Edge of Heaven”, which emphasized the flavor of Inner Mongolia and created a strong resonance with the audience. After the concert, the audience was reluctant to leave the stage, and scrambled to take pictures with Huang Lu.
